Microsoft exFAT/NTFS for USB by Paragon Software is a versatile non-root solution for transferring files between your Android device's onboard memory and Windows- or Mac-formatted USB flash drives.

The application seamlessly integrates with the Paragon File System Link document provider, which is based on the Storage Access Framework (SAF) and ensures access to device storage, cloud storage services, USB storage devices, and data management.

Microsoft exFAT/NTFS for USB by Paragon Software also enables data access on USB flash drives directly from SAF-supported third-party applications such as file managers, messengers, and social networks (requires the built-in Android file manager "Documents" to be running on the device).

With Paragon File System Link, you can:

HOW IT WORKS

1. Install Microsoft exFAT/NTFS for USB by Paragon Software on your device.
2. Connect a USB flash drive via USB OTG and mount the desired file system.
3. Tap the "Browse" button to open and view files (media and documents) from the USB storage, or tap "Manage Files" to copy, move, delete, or rename files using the built-in Android file manager.
4. To choose your USB volume, tap the hamburger menu and select Paragon File System Link.

Note: Some devices may not support the "Browse" button functionality due to device configuration restrictions.

*The "Browse" function only allows for opening and viewing files. To access file management functionality, please use the "Manage Files" option.

Manage Files:

• Android 7.x and 8.x: Copy, Move, Delete, Rename
• Android 6.x: Copy, Delete
• Android 4.x and 5.x are not supported by the built-in Android file manager. Please use the app's plugin for Total Commander functionality.

To use Microsoft exFAT/NTFS for USB by Paragon Software as a plugin for the Total Commander file manager, install Total Commander from Google Play and click the Open button on the main screen of the app. It will open Total Commander with the mounted volumes of the USB storage.
